4 Criteria for Rank Promotion from Rank IV to Rank III for Scientific and Technological Public Employees

To be specific, a public employee is eligible for consideration to be promoted from grade IV to grade III in the occupational titles of the science and technology sector when the following standards and conditions are met:

- The public non-business unit has a demand and is recommended by the competent authority for promotion consideration.- Currently holding the occupational title of research assistant (grade IV, code: V.05.01.04) for public employees registering for promotion to the occupational title of researcher (grade III, code: V.05.01.03).- Currently holding the occupational title of technician (grade IV, code: V.05.02.08) for public employees registering for promotion to the occupational title of engineer (grade III, code: V.05.02.07).- Evaluated and classified by the competent authority as having completed their duties well or above in the year immediately preceding the year of application submission; having good professional qualities and ethics; not currently under disciplinary action or under review for disciplinary measures.- Meeting all the standards of the occupational title registered for promotion (grade III, researcher or engineer) according to Joint Circular 24/2014/TTLT-BKHCN-BNV.
