24 energy-saving solutions for plastic bottle production in Vietnam

Here are the key contents stipulated in Circular 38/2016/TT-BCT regulating energy consumption levels in the plastics industry as follows.

Specifically, Circular 38/2016/TT-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam has introduced several solutions aimed at saving energy for plastic bottle production facilities as follows:

1 Install an inverter for plastic blow molding machines
2 Install thermal insulation for hydraulic injection equipment
3 Replace low-efficiency lighting equipment
4 Insulate the heating chamber of semi-automatic blow molding equipment
5 Use high-efficiency motors
6 Install an inverter for water pumps
7 Install an inverter for cooling water pumps
8 Replace old coolers
9 Install an inverter for hydraulic injection equipment
10 Replace old air conditioners with inverter ones
11 Install an inverter for air compressors
12 Balance phase for large-capacity transformers
13 Replace water cooling systems with air cooling systems for blow molding equipment
14 Install pulsating cooling equipment for injection molds
15 Use a central compressed air system
16 Reuse high-pressure compressed air
17 Replace old air compressors
18 Install automatic valves for air and cooling water pipelines for all equipment
19 Replace thermal expansion valves with electric valves for coolers
20 Use a central cooling system
21 Prevent cooling water and compressed air leaks
22 Insulate cooling water pipelines between cooling equipment and blow molding equipment
23 Insulate plastic drying equipment
24 Install humidity sensors
