13 things should be noted by mining construction engineering graduates in Vietnam (Illustration)

Circular 50/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates that mining construction engineering graduates at the college level need to achieve the following 13 knowledge after graduation:

- Analyze parameters of drilling and blasting passports, underground mining support passports, underground system diagrams, etc.;

- Explain geological phenomena, faulting, folding, physical properties of mine rocks, etc., that affect production work, underground mine drainage systems;

- Distinguish the properties, application scope of common and special supporting materials: wood, iron, concrete, bricks, etc., and the corresponding support structures with supporting materials;

- Analyze the technological process of common tunnel excavation methods by drilling and blasting, manual or machine loading with scoop loaders, scraping machines, side dump loaders, and combination machines for tunnel excavation;

- Analyze technical processes for support in rock tunnels and coal tunnels, station chambers;

- Determine methods for reinforcing and repairing tunnels;

- Distinguish common opening techniques and mining methods;

- Analyze the structure, working principle, sequence, and operating norms of various drilling machines, pneumatic drills, jackhammers, conveyors, etc.;

- Analyze the use, structure, working principle, and methods of using common mine rescue equipment;

- Explain safety regulations in underground mines, mine gas measurement tools, personal rescue equipment, and methods to eliminate mine incidents;

- Analyze the structure, working principle, processes, and operating norms of the following mining equipment: cyclic soil and rock loaders dumping at the rear side, side dumping loaders, combination tunneling machines, conveyors, winches, fans;

- Present the principles of organizing work in preparatory tunnels;

- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education as prescribed.
