13 Tasks and rights of students at the district-level public vocational education centers in Vietnam

Below is the noteworthy content stipulated in Circular 05/2020/TT-BLDTBXH regarding the regulations on the organization and operation of district-level public vocational education centers in Vietnam.

13 Tasks and rights of students at the district-level public vocational education centers in Vietnam (Illustrative image)

According to Article 32 of Circular 05/2020/TT-BLDTBXH, students at the District-level public vocational education centers in Vietnam have the following specific duties and rights:

1. Comply with the regulations and rules of the Center; practice a civilized and healthy lifestyle; participate in building, protecting, and promoting the traditions of the Center, and comply with the laws of the State.

2. Pay tuition fees and other service fees as prescribed.

3. Participate in labor and social activities, social organizations within the Center.

4. Have the privilege to shorten or extend the time to complete the training program, repeat a year; have their study results reserved according to the law.

5. Be awarded vocational education certificates corresponding to their level and training program as prescribed by the law.

6. Utilize the Center's equipment and facilities to serve their study, practice, internship, and participate in cultural, physical, and sports activities. Ensure safety and hygiene conditions during study, practice, and internship according to the law.

7. Directly or through legal representatives of the collective of students propose solutions to the Center that contribute to building the Center and protecting legitimate rights and interests.

8. Preserve and protect the assets of the Center and the production facilities where practice and internship take place.

9. Comply with regulations on labor safety and hygiene.

10. Fulfill temporary work obligations as prescribed by law.

11. Pursue studies and training according to training objectives or the training contracts signed with the Center.

12. Enjoy policies for students as prescribed by law.

13. Choose the appropriate study program, study format, and study location according to their abilities and conditions and those of the Center; be facilitated to transfer programs, study formats, and study locations if desired and accepted by the receiving institution.
