11 Priority Activities in Green Growth Urban Development

Circular 01 addresses 11 priority activities for implementing the development of green growth urban areas, specifically:

- Reviewing and adjusting urban planning indicators, integrating urban development models consistent with the green growth urban development orientation such as green cities, eco-economic cities, smart cities, low-carbon cities, and solutions in the priority fields listed below.- Developing green urban transportation, public transportation, and low-emission transportation forms, limiting the use of fossil fuels.- Developing green, environmentally friendly buildings.- Economically using and preventing the loss and wastage of clean water.- Waste treatment, reducing discharge, emissions, energy conservation, reusing, and recycling waste.- Developing and applying green building materials and construction technologies, using energy efficiently and economically, and encouraging the use of clean energy.- Developing green, eco-friendly urban areas.- Enhancing the resilience to climate change for urban areas.- Developing smart cities.- Training and fostering the development of human resources for management and specialized staff at all levels in green growth urban development.- Issuing policies, priorities, incentives, and encouragements for the implementation of the above priority fields.
