11 groups of Vietnam Standards in the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector

This important provision is stipulated in Circular 05/2013/TT-BVHTTDL on the formulation of Vietnam standards and national technical regulations issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on July 29, 2013.

11 groups of Vietnam Standards in the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector (Illustration)

In Article 3 Circular 05/2013/TT-BVHTTDL, the 11 groups of Vietnam Standards in the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector include:

  1. Vietnam Standard on cultural heritage.

  2. Vietnam Standard on cinematography.

  3. Vietnam Standard on libraries.

  4. Vietnam Standard on fine arts and photography.

  5. Vietnam Standard on advertising.

  6. Vietnam Standard on performing arts and theater.

  7. Vietnam Standard on cultural services.

  8. Vietnam Standard on physical training and sports (equipment, facilities, playgrounds, works, recreational activities) and related services.

  9. Vietnam Standard on tourism and related services.

  10. Vietnam Standard on the environment of tourist areas, tourist sites, historical-cultural relics, world heritage sites, and ranked scenic spots; sports, recreational, and golf course services.

  11. Other groups under management requirement in each period.

The Vietnam Standards in the fields under the state management responsibility of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (referred to as Vietnam Standards) are standards in the fields of culture, family, physical training, sports, and tourism organized for development and proposed for appraisal and publication by the Ministry of Science and Technology according to specified procedures and processes.

The organization by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism for the formulation and proposal for publication of Vietnam Standards aims to encourage their application to enhance the quality and efficiency of Vietnam Standard subjects in the fields of culture, family, physical training, sports, and tourism; and to improve the competitiveness of products, goods, and services in the domestic and international markets.
