On July 29, 2013, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgated Circular 05/2013/TT-BVHTTDL regulating the activities of developing national standards and national technical regulations.
11 groups of national standard subjects in the fields of culture, sports, and tourism (Illustration)
In Article 3 Circular 05/2013/TT-BVHTTDL, the subjects of national standards in the fields of culture, family, physical training, sports, and tourism include 11 groups as follows:
Group of standards on cultural heritage.
Group of standards on cinematography.
Group of standards on libraries.
Group of standards on fine arts and photography.
Group of standards on advertising.
Group of standards on performing arts and theater.
Group of standards on cultural services.
Group of standards on physical training and sports (equipment, facilities, playgrounds, works, recreational activities) and related services.
Group of standards on tourism and related services.
Group of standards on the environment of tourist areas, tourist sites, historical-cultural relics, world heritage sites, and ranked scenic spots; sports, recreational, and golf course services.
Other groups as required by management in each period.
The national standards in the fields under the state management responsibility of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (referred to as national standards) are standards in the fields of culture, family, physical training, sports, and tourism organized for development and proposed for appraisal and publication by the Ministry of Science and Technology according to specified procedures and processes.
The organization by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism for the development and proposal for publication of national standards aims to encourage their application to enhance the quality and efficiency of national standard subjects in the fields of culture, family, physical training, sports, and tourism; and to improve the competitiveness of products, goods, and services in the domestic and international markets.
