10 Main Articles of the Procedure for Maintenance of Important Irrigation Works

Maintenance procedures for particularly important, large and medium hydraulic works, dams, and reservoirs must include at least the following contents:

- Design, technical, and technological parameters of the project; categories of works and machinery, equipment.- Regulations on subjects, methods, and frequencies for inspecting works and machinery, equipment.- Regulations on contents and guidelines for maintaining works and machinery, equipment in line with various parts of the works, types of works, and equipment installed in the works.- Regulations on timing and guidelines for periodically replacing equipment installed in the works.- Guidelines for repairing damages to the works and handling situations when the works deteriorate.- Regulations on the usage duration of works and machinery, equipment.- Regulations on the content and periodic evaluation time for works that must be evaluated for safety during the exploitation and usage process in accordance with relevant laws.- Identifying the time, subjects, and content that need periodic inspection.- Regulations on timing, methods, and cycles for monitoring with requirements for observation.- Other guidelines related to maintaining works, machinery, equipment, and regulations on conditions to ensure labor safety and environmental hygiene during the maintenance process.
