10 geological survey tasks requiring application of economic-technical norms in Vietnam

10 geological investigation tasks requiring the application of economic-technical norms (Illustrative image)

Circular 37/2010/TT-BTNMT stipulates the economic-technical norms for 10 marine and island geological-mineral surveying tasks. These norms serve as the basis for constructing cost estimates for marine and island geological-mineral investigation projects in Vietnam. These norms apply to the following 10 tasks:

- Diving operations for shallow marine sediment sampling;

- Preparation of project summary reports;

- Drilling operations on tidal flats;

- Nearshore marine drilling and jet-drilling methods;

- Marine drilling using self-made drilling rigs;

- Marine magnetic measurement using Sea-Spy devices and similar equipment;

- High-resolution shallow seismic measurement using Air-Gun sources;

- Washing of marine sediment samples for Plasma spectrometry analysis;

- Sample analysis using C14 radiometric isotope methods;

- Sample analysis using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and electrocoagulation methods.
