Recently, the Government of Vietnam has issued Decree 45/2006/ND-CP promulgating the regulations on the management and use of the gratitude fund of Vietnam.
08 Subjects Mobilized to Contribute to the Gratitude Fund of Vietnam(Illustrative image)
The Charter for the management and use of the Gratitude Fund issued with Decree 45/2006/ND-CP stipulates the subjects encouraged to contribute to the Gratitude Fund of Vietnam as follows:
- Vietnamese citizens working at:
- State agencies, public service providers of the State, political organizations, political-social organizations, political-social-professional organizations, professional social organizations, other social organizations;- Agencies and units under the People's Army and People's Public Security;- Enterprises of all economic sectors in Vietnam;- Foreign agencies, organizations, or international organizations in Vietnam;- Cultural, health, education, training, science, sports, and other professional sectors.
- Vietnamese people working, studying, and living abroad;
- Freelancers;
- Vietnamese organizations and enterprises.
Additionally, the Decree also stipulates the subjects not encouraged to contribute to the Gratitude Fund as follows:
- Persons under 18 years old, women over 55 years old, and men over 60 years old;
- Subjects receiving allowances according to the Ordinance on preferential treatment for those with meritorious services to the revolution;
- Disabled people as prescribed by the law on disabled people;
- People receiving pensions, incapacity allowances, social allowances;
- Students studying at universities, colleges, vocational colleges, intermediate schools, vocational intermediate schools, vocational training centers, and vocational classes.
