Below is the noteworthy content stipulated in Circular 110/2014/TT-BQP issued by the Ministry of National Defense, promulgating the Regulations on the management, provision, and use of Internet services in the Vietnam People's Army.
Circular 110/2014/TT-BQP has stipulated 08 prohibited acts for agencies, units, and individuals participating in the management, provision, use of services, and ensuring information security on the Internet within the Vietnam People's Army, specifically:
- Providing or exchanging information related to the protection of state secrets, military secrets, and national defense through the Internet.- Creating and providing personal information as military personnel on electronic information portals and social networks.- Accessing counterfeit, reactionary websites with inappropriate content.- Connecting the Internet with the military data transmission network; internal network of agencies and units.- Using computers connected to the Internet or devices capable of connecting to the Internet (smartphones, tablets) to connect with the military data transmission network; internal network of agencies and units.- Accessing the Internet via wireless connection in the command area of strategic and operational-level agencies and units.- Storing and drafting military documents on computers connected to the Internet; devices capable of connecting to the Internet.- Sharing storage devices between computers connected to the Internet and computers connected to the military data transmission network, the internal network of agencies and units without an information security assurance solution.
