On March 29, 2018, the Ministry of Information and Communications promulgated Circular 01/2018/TT-BTTTT on economic-technical norms for measurement and inspection in the field of broadcasting and television.

Issued together with Circular 01 are 07 technical and economic standards for measurement and testing in the field of broadcasting and television, specifically:

- Standard for measuring and testing electromagnetic field exposure of radio and television stations.- Standard for measuring and testing IPTV service quality on fixed public telecommunications networks.- Standard for measuring and testing DVB-C digital cable television signal quality at the subscriber connection point.- Standard for measuring and testing analog cable television signals at the subscriber connection point.- Standard for measuring and testing DVB-T2 digital terrestrial television signals.- Standard for measuring and testing DVB-S and DVB-S2 satellite digital television signal quality at the reception point.- Standard for measuring and testing DVB-T2 terrestrial digital television signal quality at the reception point.
