06 types of information provided by the ministries to the State Bank of Vietnam from July 01, 2007​ (Illustration)

In Article 4 of Decree 82/2007/ND-CP, six types of information for the construction and management of national monetary policy, provided by ministries to the State Bank of Vietnam, are specified as follows:

1. Guidelines, policies, and socio-economic development strategies of Vietnam in various periods; short-term and long-term economic development plans; plans and situations of foreign investment into Vietnam and Vietnamese investment abroad; overall social development investment capital plans;
2. Short-term and long-term fiscal policies; short-term and long-term state budget revenue and expenditure plans; short-term and long-term state budget capital mobilization plans from domestic and international markets; state budget revenue and expenditure situations on a monthly and yearly basis;
3. Statistical indicators related to monetary policy within the national statistical indicator system, assigned by the Prime Minister to the Ministry of Planning and Investment (General Statistics Office) and other ministries, responsible for their collection;
4. Policies and situations regarding labor, labor markets, and unemployment on a quarterly and annual basis;
5. Quantity and value of listed, traded, depository, and brokerage securities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
6. Other information as requested by the State Bank to serve the construction and management of national monetary policy.

In addition, the types of information provided by non-credit institution organizations to serve the construction and management of the national monetary policy by the State Bank include:

- Reports on assets and liabilities situations on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;

- Other information as requested by the State Bank.

The types of information provided by individuals and organizations to the State Bank to meet the requirements of periodic or ad-hoc statistical monetary surveys as prescribed by the State Bank.
