Develop and implement the master's program oriented towards research and/or application based on the capabilities, conditions, and development orientation for each major and specialty of the training institution, as well as the actual demand for the utilization of master's-level human resources.
Clearly define the objectives, and output standards for each major and specialty; the academic load, program structure, and requirements for the thesis in line with the research or application orientation and under current regulations.
Ensure a minimum academic load of 30 credits for a one-year training program; a minimum of 45 credits for a one-and-a-half-year training program, and a minimum of 60 credits for a two-year training program. The academic load of each credit follows the Regulation on undergraduate and college programs under the current credit-based training.
Program content must aim at achieving the identified objectives and output standards; ensure that learners receive supplementary and advanced knowledge related to their major and specialty; increase interdisciplinary knowledge; and enhance the ability to perform professional tasks and scientific research in the relevant major and specialty. The undergraduate knowledge content, if necessary, must not exceed 5% of the stipulated duration for each unit of study.
