04 prohibited acts for the grassroots-level security and order protection forces in Vietnam (Illustrated image)

Article 9 of Draft Law on the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces stipulates the acts prohibited for the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces, including:

1. Organizing and using the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces contrary to the provisions of this Law.

2. Impersonating the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces; resisting or obstructing the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces in the performance of their official duties.

3. Illegally purchasing, selling, storing, transporting, preserving, or using support tools equipped for the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces; manufacturing, purchasing, selling, storing, exchanging, giving, lending, leasing, using illegally, counterfeiting, pawning uniforms, badges, insignias, certificates of security preservation at the grassroots level.

4. Abusing or exploiting the performance of duties and powers of the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces to cause trouble, infringe upon the interests of the State, citizens' rights, and the lawful rights and interests of agencies, organizations, and individuals.

Additionally, the Draft Law stipulates the supervision of the implementation of laws concerning the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces. Specifically:

- The National Assembly, agencies of the National Assembly, delegations of the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies, People's Councils, and People's Council deputies, within their duties and powers, supervise the implementation of laws concerning the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces.

- The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations are responsible for coordinating, cooperating, assisting the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces in the performance of their duties; supervising the implementation of laws concerning the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces and activities of the Grassroots-level security and order protection forces; encouraging all social strata to participate in the movement of the entire population to protect the Fatherland's security.
