04 General Standards on Professional Ethics for the Information and Communications Sector

On December 29, 2017, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Circular 46/2017/TT-BTTTT, stipulating the professional title standards for public employee positions including sound technician, broadcaster, film editing technician, and cameraman within the specialized field of Information and Communications.

According to the provisions of Circular 46, public employees in the Information and Communications sector must meet the following professional ethics standards:

- Comply with the guidelines, policies of the Communist Party, laws of the State, and regulations of the sector and locality on information and communications.- Be honest, objective, and responsible for the assigned work; fulfill fully and correctly the obligations of a public employee in professional activities.- Cultivate ethics, maintain qualities, honor, professional reputation; do not abuse the work position and assigned tasks for personal gain; be united, creative, and ready to learn and accept new things, self-improve; have a sense of cooperation, help colleagues, share work experiences; actively participate in scientific research.
