Recently, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 15/2013/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the organization of physical education and sports activities for students in vocational training institutions.
According to the provisions of Article 11 of Circular 15/2013/TT-BLDTBXH, the funding for organizing physical training, sports activities, training, and competitions is implemented according to the provisions in the Decision 32/2011/QD-TTg dated June 6, 2011, of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam regarding certain policies for coaches and athletes who are engaged in intensive training and competition; Joint Circular 200/2011/TTLT-BTC-BVHTTDL dated December 30, 2011, of the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism stipulating financial expenditure policies for sports competitions in Vietnam.

The funding for organizing physical training and sports activities in Vietnam is ensured from the following sources:
- State budget; National level physical training and sports activities are funded by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs according to the approved budget estimates;
- Sponsorships and support from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in accordance with the law;
- Other lawful revenue sources of vocational training institutions, voluntary contributions from members of sports associations, sports clubs, and participants in physical training and sports activities.
The management and use of funds for organizing physical training and sports activities for students in Vietnam is carried out according to current financial regulations.
