To be specific:, according to the provisions of Circular 27/2018/TT-BTC, the funding arrangement for the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award, the Technical Innovation Contest, and the Youth Creativity Contest (hereinafter collectively referred to as the science and technology and technical innovation contests) are ensured from the following sources:

First, the science and technology budget from the central budget allocated in the annual state budget estimates, including:
- The funds allocated in the estimates of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations to organize the science and technology and technical innovation contests nationwide;- The funds allocated in the estimates of ministries and central agencies to organize science and technology and technical innovation contests at the ministries and central agencies.
Second, the science and technology budget from the local budget to organize science and technology and technical innovation contests at the local level.
Third, other funding sources, including: sponsorship funds and other legitimate funds mobilized from individuals, organizations, and enterprises domestically and internationally.
