03 cases of appointing professional titles for public employees teaching at pedagogical colleges in Vietnam (Illustration)

Article 8 of Circular 35/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulates the cases for appointing to professional titles as follows:

Case 1: Public employees recruited by educational institutions as prescribed by law, having completed the regulations on policies for probationary public employees, and assessed to meet the requirements by the Head of the educational institution after the probationary period.

Case 2: Public employees already appointed to the professional title of public employees teaching in public higher education institutions as stipulated in Joint Circular 36/2014/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV or equivalent, are now appointed to the professional title of public employees teaching in pedagogical colleges as stipulated in this Circular. Specifically:

- Appointed to the professional title of senior lecturer at teacher training college (Grade I), code V.07.08.20 for public employees currently holding the professional title of senior lecturer (Grade I), code V.07.01.01 or equivalent.

- Appointed to the professional title of principal lecturer at teacher training college (Grade II), code V.07.08.21 for public employees currently holding the professional title of principal lecturer (Grade II), code V.07.01.02 or equivalent.

- Appointed to the professional title of lecturer at teacher training college (Grade III), code V.07.08.22 for public employees currently holding the professional title of lecturer (Grade III), code V.07.01.03 or equivalent.

Case 3: Public employees changing professional titles as prescribed by the Law on Public Employees and guiding documents.
