On May 19, 2017, the Vietnam Ministry of Finance signed Decision No. 895/QD-BTC approving the Plan for the recruitment of officials to work at the State Treasury of Vietnam via examination or admission 2017.
The State Treasury of Vietnam has just issued an official recruitment announcement in 2017, offering 494 positions across various roles such as professional officials, informatics officials, accountants, security staff, and drivers.
Time for application receipt:
From 8:30 AM on June 26, 2017, to 4:30 PM on June 30, 2017
Application submission place:
Candidates who apply to any provincial State Treasury of Vietnam should submit their application forms directly to the provincial State Treasury of Vietnam they wish to apply to.
For positions such as basic construction official, legal official, system administration official, database administration official, information security management official, and technical assurance official, candidates should submit their application forms to the central State Treasury of Vietnam office at 32 Cat Linh, Dong Da, Hanoi.
Application fee: 300,000 VND/candidate.
Time for examination and admission:
The list of eligible candidates, the announcement of the examination and interview schedule, venues, and the recruitment results will be published on the State Treasury of Vietnam's website at http://www.vst.mof.gov.vn or sent to the candidates via the mailing addresses they provided.
Notes:
- Candidates must submit their application forms in person (No postal submission or submission by others will be accepted);
- Each candidate is only allowed to apply for one position at one provincial State Treasury of Vietnam, where they plan to work if successful.
- The State Treasury of Vietnam will not return the submitted application forms and the application fees.
- The State Treasury of Vietnam will not organize preparatory courses, compile, or sell examination preparation materials.
Conditions and standards for professional officials:
Qualifications:
- Professional officials at the provincial State Treasuries: University degree (Bachelor) or higher in Economics, Finance, or Banking;
- Professional officials at the central State Treasury of Vietnam:
- Legal official: University degree (Bachelor) or higher in Law.
- Basic construction official: University degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Urban Construction.
Degrees and certificates:
- Have a foreign language proficiency certificate of level B or higher (in one of the following languages: English, French, Russian, Chinese, German) or an equivalent level 2 certificate in Vietnamese foreign language framework according to Circular 01/2014/TT-BGDDT dated January 24, 2014, of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Have an office informatics certificate or level A or higher or a certificate meeting the basic information technology skills standards according to Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated March 11, 2014, of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Candidates can use one of the following certificates as a substitute for the English B certificate:
- TOEFL 400 or higher (PBT), 42 or higher (iBT);
- IELTS 4.5 or higher;- TOEIC 405 or higher;
- B1 European Framework English certificate or higher.
Priority candidates:
Priority candidates and priority points are regulated by Article 5, Decree 24/2010/ND-CP dated March 15, 2010, of the Government of Vietnam. Specifically:
- Heroes of the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, war invalids, beneficiaries of policies like war invalids: 30 points added to the total examination or selection score;
- Ethnic minorities, army officers, police officers, professional soldiers, personnel from cryptographic organizations transitioning to civilian jobs, children of martyrs, children of war invalids, children of patients, children of beneficiaries of policies like war invalids, children of revolutionary activists before the August Revolution (before August 19, 1945), children of those affected by toxic chemicals, children of Armed Forces Heroes, children of Labor Heroes: 20 points added to the total examination or selection score;
- Individuals who have completed military service, fixed-term service in the People's Police, young volunteers, young intellectuals volunteering for rural and mountainous development for at least 24 months: 10 points added to the total examination or selection score.
If a candidate belongs to multiple priority categories, they may only receive the highest priority point added to their examination or selection result as regulated.
