Template for the 2018 Staffing Plan for Officials and Public Employees in Vietnam

According to Official Dispatch 2768/BNV-TCBC dated May 26, 2017, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam requests that Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities send the staffing plan for officials and the plan for the number of people working in public service providers in 2018 to the Ministry before June 30, 2017.

Note that after June 30, 2017, if the Ministry or province does not submit the official establishment plan and the plan for the number of employees or the plans are incorrect or incomplete according to the above regulations, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam will appraise and consolidate the official establishment plan and the plan for the number of employees in public service providers for 2018 as follows:

Regarding the official establishment: Reduce the official establishment assigned in 2017 by a rate of 2% on the total official establishment assigned in 2015.

Regarding the number of employees in public service providers:

- For Ministries or provinces that achieved the streamlining rate in 2015 and 2016: Reduce the number of employees assigned by the competent authority in 2017 by a rate of 2% on the total number of employees assigned in 2015.

- For Ministries or provinces that did not achieve the streamlining rate in 2015 and 2016: Reduce the number of employees assigned by the competent authority in 2017 by a rate of 3% on the total number of employees assigned in 2015.
