According to the regulations in Decree 90/2020/ND-CP, before December 15 every year, officials and public employees in Vietnam will be organized for evaluation and quality classification to serve as a basis for placement, utilization, training, fostering, rank promotion or professional title rank enhancement, among other policies applied to officials and public employees. The contents of the evaluation and classification forms for officials and public employees include:
I. Self-Evaluation Results:
(1) Political ideology;
(2) Ethics and lifestyle;
(3) Working style and methodology;
(4) Organizational discipline awareness;
(5) Results of job responsibilities and tasks assigned;
- For evaluation and classification of officials: the results of the performance of the agency, organization, or unit assigned to lead, manage, or be in charge (clearly define work contents, completion rate, quality, and job progress); Leadership and management capacity; Ability to unite and gather.- For the evaluation and classification of officials and public employees: the work contents performed must be clearly defined; completion rate, quality, job progress.
(6) Attitude towards serving the public and businesses (for positions with direct contact or that directly handle the affairs of citizens and businesses); (Note: this part is only specific to the evaluation and classification of officials and public employees*)*

III. Results of Evaluation, Classification of Officials and Public Employees (Section for authority in charge of evaluation)
- Assessment of strengths and weaknesses:- Results of evaluation, classification of quality: (Outstanding; Good; Satisfactory; Unsatisfactory).- Evaluation of the development trend and prospects of the official.
Note:
- For the evaluation and classification of officials, there will be comments and evaluations (Part for the head of the constituent unit, if any).
- For the evaluation and classification of public employees, there will be comments and evaluations for the deputy head of the public service provider.
