- Class IV librarian, Code: V.10.02.07
2. Standards of professional competence for librarians in Vietnam
2.1. Standards on training and retraining qualifications of Class I librarians in Vietnam
Specifically, in Clause 3, Article 4 of Circular 02/2022/TT-BVHTTDL, standards for training and fostering the qualifications of Class I librarians are prescribed as follows:
- Firmly grasping the party's guidelines and guidelines, the state's policies and laws, and the development strategy for libraries and reading culture;
- Extensive knowledge of library operations;
- Being able to analyze, synthesize, systematize, and propose and advise on the development of library policies, laws, projects, and programs;
- Being able to organize and direct the research and application of scientific and technical advances to improve and raise the quality and efficiency of library work;
- Having basic information technology skills, using foreign languages, or using ethnic minority languages for officials working in ethnic minority areas, according to job position requirements.
2.2. Standards on training and retraining qualifications of Class II Librarians in Vietnam
