On the afternoon of November 09, 2018, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution on the State budget estimates for 2019, officially adjusting the statutory pay rate for 2019, increasing it by 100,000 VND/month.

SALARY TABLE Vietnamese official and public employee STATE FROM July 1, 2019
According to the guidance mentioned in this Resolution, from July 1, 2019, the Government of Vietnam will adjust the statutory pay rate from 1.39 million VND/month to 1.49 million VND/month.
This statutory pay rate will be used as a basis to:
- Calculate the salary levels in salary tables, allowance levels, and implement other policies as prescribed by law;- Calculate the operational fees, living expenses as prescribed by law;- Calculate the deductions and policies received according to the statutory pay rate.
The salary table for officials and public employees of the state will also be adjusted accordingly to the regulations in the Resolution.
