Regulations on Official Inspector Cards for the Information and Communications Sector

This is the content stipulated in Circular 36/2017/TT-BTTTT issued by the Ministry of Information and Communication on November 29, 2017, to prescribe the advisory departments and inspection activities of the agencies assigned to perform specialized inspection functions.

Circular 36 stipulates that specialized inspection officials are issued an inspection official card by the Minister of Information and Communications to use when performing inspection duties.

Specialized inspection officials are responsible for the preservation and use of the inspection official card in accordance with the provisions of the law. In case of loss or damage of the inspection official card, the specialized inspection official must report to the Director-General to carry out the procedures for re-issuance or card replacement as prescribed. It is strictly forbidden to use the inspection official card for purposes other than performing inspection functions and duties.

The inspection official card must be revoked when the inspection official retires or is no longer assigned to perform specialized inspection functions.

Additionally, Circular 36 stipulates that the inspection official card determines the legal status for specialized inspection officials to use while performing inspection duties and powers in accordance with the law.

Material for the card: The inspection official card is stipulated by Circular 36 to be made of plastic (PET).
