Procedures for application for examination of the verification sector in 2022

Subsection 4 of Section II – Plan 70 /KH-VKSTC in 2022 promulgated by the Supreme People's Procuracy on May 12, 2022:

- An application for contest registration;

- A report on the appointment of qualified candidates;

- The civil servant's resume (made according to a set form, not more than 6 months before the date of receipt of the dossier), certified by the agency competent to manage the civil servant;

- The written self-criticism for the three latest years of work;

- Notarized copies of bachelor's degrees in law and procuracy (for candidates who do not hold the examiner or procurator rank at the time of registration for examination); their political theory level (for candidates who sit the examination of senior examiners);

- Copies of relevant decisions of the individual (certified by the competent authorities), including: Decision on recruitment of public servants, decision on appointment of scale of public servant to hold and the equivalent (if any);

- Comments and assessments of the executive committee or authority of the place of residence;

- A health certificate issued by a competent health agency (valid for 12 months).

Therefore, when participating in the recruitment, the applicants must prepare dossiers including all the above-mentioned components.

Procedure for organizing examinations for the People's Procuracy sector in 2022

According to the subsection 5, Section II of Plan 70/KH-VKSTC in 2022 promulgated by the Supreme People's Procuracy on May 12, 2022, the procedures for organization of people's procuracy tests in 2022 shall be as follows:

- Announcement of the examination plan:

+ The Supreme People's Procuracy shall publicly announce its examination plan to units of the Supreme People's Procuracy, superior people's procuracies and people's procuracies of provinces and centrally run cities.

+ Pursuant to the Decision No. 216/QD-VKSTC dated December 17, 2019 of the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy on assignment of inspector quotas of all ranks of the People's Procuracy; on the basis of this Plan, units affiliated to the Supreme People's Procuracy and the Supreme People's Procuracy; the People's Procuracy of provinces and central-affiliated cities shall review and report to the Supreme People's Procuracy before May 18, 2022 on the number of high-level inspectors and existing main inspectors of the units and the number of people to be added in 2022 for the Supreme People's Procuracy to approve; simultaneously, selection of qualified candidates and with application files at the Supreme People's Procuracy before May 31, 2022.

- Test venue:

+ At the Hanoi University for its members working for the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Procuracy and the provinces from Quang Tri backward (examinations for principal examiners and senior examiners).

+ At the school of training and fostering the verification profession in Ho Chi Minh City for the candidates of the provinces from Thua Thien Hue southward (examination of principal examiners)

- Forms of examination: professional exam, the form of 180-minute written exam and 60-minute multiple-choice test.

+ Contents of examinations: Contents related to the organizational structure, apparatus, functions and tasks of the people's procuracy sector; responsibilities, tasks and powers of senior examiners and principal examiners (in the domains under the 2014 Law on Organization of the People's Procuracy, criminal, civil and administrative cases and relevant documents which are currently in force).

- Exam time:

+ The Supreme People's Procuracy shall issue specific notices later.

- Method of grading:

+ 100 scores for each form of examination (written score: 100, coefficient 2; multiple-choice test score: 100, coefficient 1)

Accordingly, each candidate from the People's Procuracy of the province to the highest rank in Quang Tri province will be held in Hanoi. The examination papers shall comprise two parts: writing paper and multiple-choice test.
