According to the recent notification from the Supreme People's Court (TAND Toi Cao) in Official Dispatch 535/TANDTC-TCCB, the registration for the recruitment and rank promotion for judges in Vietnam should be noted as follows:

| Candidates | - Chief Justices, Deputy Chief Justices of District People's Courts who are not yet Intermediate Judges, meet the standards, conditions, and are not under disciplinary review, complaint, or accusation, and have a service period of at least 6 months (from December 01, 2017). - Primary Judges sitting for a promotion exam to supplement Intermediate Judges for the provincial People's Courts that are currently lacking due to promotion, natural attrition, transfer of work. Promotion exam for Intermediate Judges for district People's Courts (according to the quota allocation in Official Dispatch 661/TANDTC-TCCB dated November 01, 2016). |
Examiners, Court Clerks who meet the standards and conditions as prescribed and are not under disciplinary review, complaint, or accusation. |
| Quota | According to the allocated Intermediate Judge quota for each provincial People's Court, district People's Courts that are still lacking, as of September 30, 2017. | Quota for Primary Judges allocated to district People’s Courts belonging to provinces, cities, and regional military courts that are currently lacking due to natural attrition, promotion exams to Intermediate Judges, or other job transfers, as of September 30, 2017. |
