Hanoi-Vietnam: 04 forms of handling violations in the exam for prosecutor recruitment in 2017

This is a noteworthy content in internal rules on the exam for prosecutor recruitment attached to the Regulations on the exam for recruitment of primary procurators, intermediate procurators, and senior procurators in the People's Procuracy sector of Vietnam as promulgated in Decision 328/QD-VKSTC.

Form of handling violations Violations
1. Reprimand
  • Sitting in an incorrect seat as per their roll number;
  • Communicating with others despite being warned once but still not complying;
  • Bringing materials into the exam room but not using them (unless the exam regulations allow bringing materials into the exam room).
The exam room invigilator shall prepare a report and announce the form of reprimand publicly in the exam room. The examinee who is reprimanded in any exam shall have 20% of their exam results for that exam deducted.
2. Warning
  • Already reprimanded but continues to violate exam room rules;
  • Using materials in the exam room (unless the exam regulations allow using materials in the exam room);
  • Exchanging draft papers or exam papers with each other;
  • Copying someone else's work;
  • Using mobile phones, recording devices, cameras, computers, tablets, camcorders, and other communication devices in the exam room (unless the exam regulations provide otherwise).
The exam room invigilator shall prepare a report, confiscate the evidence, and announce the form of warning publicly in the exam room. The examinee who receives a warning in any exam shall have 40% of their exam results for that exam deducted.
3. Disqualification

Being applicable to the examinee who has been warned but still deliberately violates exam room rules.

The Chief invigilator of the exam session decides to disqualify and announces it publicly in the exam room. The examinee disqualified in any exam will have their exam paper for that exam graded as zero.

4. Cancellation of exam results Being applicable to the examinee found to have swapped exam papers, had a proxy take the exam, or has been disciplined in previous exams but continues to commit violations in subsequent exams to the extent of being warned.

Examinees who engage in serious violations or intentionally create unsafe conditions in the exam room will be handled according to legal regulations.
