This is the noteworthy content in the Draft Law amending and supplementing certain articles of the Law on Officials and the Law on Public Employees drafted by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

To be specific, according to Clause 5, Article 1 of the Draft Amendment and Supplement of Article 37 of the Law on Officials 2008, the recruitment of officials through examination is implemented in the following cases:
a) Commitment to volunteer to work for 05 years or more in mountainous areas, border areas, islands, remote areas, ethnic minority areas, areas with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions;
b) Implementing policies to attract and create a source of officials from outstanding graduates, young scientists;
c) Talented individuals.
Thus, if this regulation in the Draft is approved, from January 01, 2020, there will be 02 additional cases where officials are recruited through examination, which are implementing the policy to attract and create a source of officials from outstanding graduates, young scientists, and recruiting talented individuals.
