Changes in requirements for consideration/examination for promotion of grassroots cultural public employees in Vietnam

Circular 03/2022/TT-BVHTTDL stipulates codes, standards for professional titles and salaries for specialized public employees grassroots cultural sector, in which there are changes in the requirements for consideration/examination for promotion of grassroots cultural public employees in Vietnam.

According to the regulation in Vietnam, the requirements for consideration/examination for recruitment and promotion of each professional title of a public employee in Vietnam specializing in grassroots culture are as follows:

- Class II method developer:

+ Working as a Class III method developer or equivalent position for at least 9 years (excluding probation).

+ In case of equivalent duration, it is required to hold the professional title of class III method developer for at least 01 year (full 12 months) by the expiry date of the deadline for submitting the application for examination or consideration for promotion (currently 2 years in Vietnam).

- Class III method developer:

+ Working as a Class IV method developer for at least 2 years (excluding probation) for college degree holder and at least 3 years (excluding probation) for intermediate level candidates.

+ In case of equivalent duration, it is required to hold the professional title of class IV method developer for at least 01 year (full 12 months) by the expiry date of the deadline for submitting the application for examination or consideration for promotion (currently 2 years in Vietnam).

- Class II cultural guide:

+  Working as a Class III cultural guide or equivalent position for at least 9 years (excluding probation).

+ In case of equivalent duration, it is required to hold the professional title of class III cultural guide for at least 01 year (full 12 months) by the expiry date of the deadline for submitting the application for examination or consideration for promotion (currently 2 years in Vietnam).

- Class III cultural guide:

+ Working as a Class IV cultural guide for at least 2 years (excluding probation) for college degree holder and at least 3 years (excluding probation) for intermediate level candidates.

In case of equivalent duration, it is required to hold the professional title of class IV cultural guide for at least 01 year (full 12 months) by the expiry date of the deadline for submitting the application for examination or consideration for promotion (currently 2 years in Vietnam).
