2. Subjects entitled to land rent reduction in 2022 due to Covid-19 in Vietnam

Organizations, units, enterprises, households, and individuals that are directly leasing land from the State under a Decision or Contract or Certificate of land use rights and ownership of houses and other land-attached assets issued by a competent state agency in the form of land rental with an annual payment due to Covid-19.

3. Land rent reduction in 2022 due to Covid-19 in Vietnam

- 30% reduction of land rent payable in 2022 for land tenants; do not reduce the amount of land rent, water surface rent owed in the years before 2022 or late payment interest (if any).

- The reduction of the above land rent is calculated on the payable land rent in 2022 according to the provisions of law.

In case the land or water surface lessee is entitled to a reduction in land rent or water surface rent according to regulations and/or a deduction of compensation and ground clearance in accordance with the law on land rent and water surface rent, a 30% reduction of land rent or water surface rent is calculated on the payable land rent or water surface rent (if any) after the reduction and/or deduction as prescribed by the law in Vietnam.
