Update on 06 new Administrative Procedures regarding Electronic Transactions for Social Insurance

Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs issues Decision 812/QD-BLDTBXH announcing new administrative procedures (TTHC) regarding electronic transactions in the social insurance (BHXH) sector.

effective from June 1, 2017, electronic transactions will be implemented for the following administrative procedures:

- Registering for the use of electronic transaction methods;- Changing, supplementing registration information for the use of electronic transaction methods;- Registering to discontinue using electronic transaction methods;- Registering for the use of I-VAN services;- Changing, supplementing registration information for the use of I-VAN services;- Registering to discontinue using I-VAN services.

Procedure for registering to use I-VAN services

Implementation steps:

- Step 1: Agencies, organizations, or individuals prepare a Registration Form for Using I-VAN Services according to Form No. 04/DK-IVAN issued together with Decree 166/2016/ND-CP and send the electronic version to the I-VAN Organization;- Step 2: Within 02 hours of receiving the Registration Form for Using I-VAN Services, the I-VAN Organization sends it to the electronic portal of Vietnam Social Security;- Step 3: Within 03 working days from the date of receipt of the Registration Form for Using I-VAN Services from the agency, organization, or individual, Vietnam Social Security sends a confirmation notice to the I-VAN Organization; if not approved, Vietnam Social Security must notify and clearly state the reason;- Step 4: Within 02 hours of receiving the notice from Vietnam Social Security, the I-VAN Organization sends the notice to the agency, organization, or individual participating in electronic transactions in the field of social insurance.

Implementation method: Submit the application through electronic transaction method.
