To be specific, besides detailing 07 groups of subjects affected by the Covid-19 pandemic who will receive state support, this Resolution also stipulates several other policies for employers and employees during the pandemic as follows:

- Employers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, leading to a reduction of 50% or more of employees participating in social insurance compared to the time when the competent authority announces the pandemic (including employees who have stopped working, temporarily suspended labor contracts, or agreed to unpaid leave), both employees and employers are allowed to temporarily suspend contributions to the retirement and survivorship fund for a maximum of 12 months.

- Allowing employees to submit their unemployment benefit claim documents via postal service, and the monthly job search notification can be performed indirectly (via email, fax, postal service, etc.) from April 1, 2020, until the pandemic is announced to be over without needing confirmation from the commune-level People's Committee regarding the outbreak on the locale.
