According to the recent directive in Official Dispatch 1919/BHXH-QLT, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance requests relevant agencies and units to guide participants to review their social insurance numbers, supplement personal information to complete the issuance of social insurance numbers for participants as a basis for the issuance of health insurance cards from January 1, 2018.

Participants self-search for their Social Insurance number (SI number) on the Social Insurance website by following these steps:
- Enter the Province/City code or Select the province/city of permanent or temporary residence
- Enter Full name (in Vietnamese with diacritics)
- Select Year of birth >> Enter Year of birth
- Enter Verification code
- Click Search
□ Search with SI number (correct full name, year of birth, address and household member) record the SI number:.............
□ If the search does not find the SI number, supplement the information:
Place of birth
- Province code: □□- District code: □□□- Commune code: □□□□□
Note: When searching, if multiple results are returned, click on View household information, find the most accurate information to record the SI number (if available).
