According to Notice 2166/TB-BHXH dated October 16, 2017, of the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, from November 1, 2017, participants in unemployment insurance receiving unemployment benefits in Ho Chi Minh City can complete the documents for confirmation and re-confirmation of unclaimed unemployment insurance contributions.

Applicable Subjects:
- Individuals participating in unemployment insurance (UI) who have completed their period of unemployment benefit;- Individuals participating in UI who are receiving unemployment benefits that are terminated, suspended, or canceled;- Individuals participating in UI who have received unemployment benefits but must repay the benefits due to improper receipt.
Procedure:
Subjects falling into one of the aforementioned categories are required to submit a dossier for confirmation or reconfirmation of the UI contribution period that hasn't been claimed according to the dossier receipt form 629 at Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance (Address: 117C Nguyen Dinh Chinh, Ward 15, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City) for confirmation or reconfirmation of the UI contribution period not yet claimed by the participants.
