From 10/03/2021, communes with 100% of elderly with health insurance cards will be considered and rewarded in Vietnam (Artwork).

According to Vietnam's Circular 01/2021/TT-BYT, communes that reach 100% of the elderly with health insurance cards will be proposed to the district-level People's Committee for a one-time reward with support in cash or in kind. Specifically, Clause 2, Article 5, on health care for the elderly, is as follows:

** Collective:

- Communes reach 100% of the elderly with health insurance cards, health monitoring records, and periodical health checks are proposed to the district-level People's Committees for a one-time reward in cash or in kind.

- Based on population policy goals and practices, to ensure adaptation to population aging, health care for the elderly, local selection, decision to encourage and support the development of various types of health, cultural and recreational clubs for the elderly in the community; expand types of elderly health care in the community; and other relevant content.

According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 2 of Vietnam's Circular 01/2021/TT-BYT, collectives include hamlets, villages, hamlets, bon, phum, squirrels, residential groups, quarters, street blocks, and clusters; sub-zones and equivalents (collectively referred to as villages); communes, wards, and townships (collectively referred to as communes) perform well for the population.

** Individual:

Population collaborators, village health workers in charge of achieving and exceeding targets on mobilizing and monitoring health care for the elderly at home and in the community, are rewarded, supported in cash or in kind.

The funding for the implementation of the contents of encouragement, reward, and support in money or in kind for collectives and individuals who perform well in population work shall come from the local budget and the local budget.other legal in accordance with the law in Vietnam.

This regulation will be officially implemented on March 10, 2021.
