Currently, participants of health insurance only see the last 5 consecutive years on their health insurance cards. So how do you know when your health insurance expires? Users can lookup health insurance card value online in Vietnam through the following steps:

Step 1: Access the link https://baohiemxahoi.gov.vn/
Step 2: Select "Tra cứu trực tuyến" (Online lookup)
Select "Tra cứu trực tuyến" (Online seacrh)
Step 3: Select "Tra cứu giá trị sử dụng thẻ BHYT" (Look up the value of the health insurance card)

Step 4: Fill in users' personal information
The user then fills in all information in the boxes displayed on the lookup, including:
- Full name;
- Social insurance/health insurance card numer;
- Date/Year of birth.

Note: Enter the correct social insurance or health insurance card number.
Then, click "Tôi không phải là người máy" (I'm not a robot) and press "Tra cứu" (Lookup).
Step 5: View information about health insurance card
After entering necessary information, the system will returns results including: Card number, full name, date of birth, address, code of place of initial medical examination and treatment, expiry date, valid duration of 05 consecutive years. Below is information about social insurance benefits that participants are entitled to.
