Is the Architecture Practice Certificate Revoked if Violating Professional Conduct Rules?
Based on Clause 1, Article 30 of the 2019 Architecture Law, the architecture practice certificate will be revoked in the following cases:
- No longer meeting the conditions for issuance, renewal of the architecture practice certificate as stipulated in Article 28 of this Law;
- Falsifying documents in the application for issuance, re-issuance, renewal of the architecture practice certificate;
- Serious violation of the professional code of conduct for practicing architects;
- Having technical and professional errors in architectural practice causing serious consequences as concluded by a competent state agency;
- Being prohibited from practicing or from doing architecture-related work according to a legally effective judgment or decision of the Court.
When an individual seriously violates the professional code of conduct, their architecture practice certificate will be revoked.
Therefore, in your case, if you violate the code of conduct related to competition in architectural practice and it is determined to be a "serious violation," your practice certificate will be revoked. However, there is currently no specific explanation of what constitutes a "serious violation." Therefore, it must be based on the behavior, consequences, etc., in reality to conclude.
Respectfully!
