Transporting Human Remains on National Railway: Penalties and Regulations

Based on Point e Clause 2 Article 73 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP stipulating penalties for other violations related to security, order, and railway traffic safety as follows:

Fines ranging from 300,000 VND to 500,000 VND for individuals who commit one of the following violations:

Bringing corpses or remains into the station, onto urban railway trains; bringing corpses or remains into the station, onto national railway trains contrary to regulations.

Thus, in the case of an individual bringing remains onto national railway trains contrary to regulations, the penalty will range from 300,000 VND to 500,000 VND. At the same time, the remains must be removed from the train (at the nearest arrival station if the train is running) and taken out of the station for handling according to regulations.
