Penalties for U-turning a Car at the Intersection of Roadways and Railways
At Point k Clause 3 Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
- A fine of 800,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND shall be imposed on drivers performing any of the following violations, including:
Turning vehicles around at intersections where roads are at the same level as railways; turning vehicles around at narrow roads, steep roads, curved road sections with obscured vision, places with "No U-turn" signs;
=> Thus, according to the above regulation, the act of driving a car and making a U-turn at intersections where roads and railways intersect at the same level will be subject to a fine of 800,000 to 1,000,000 VND. The editorial board responds to the information.
