Who is Eligible for the Preferential Policies for Persons with Meritorious Services to the Revolution?
Article 3 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution 2020, stipulates the subjects entitled to preferential treatment policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution as follows:
- People with meritorious services to the revolution include:
+ Individuals who participated in revolutionary activities before January 01, 1945;
+ Individuals who participated in revolutionary activities from January 01, 1945 to the August Uprising in 1945;
+ Martyrs;
+ Vietnamese Heroic Mothers;
+ Heroes of the People's Armed Forces;
+ Heroes of Labor during the resistance period;
+ Wounded soldiers, including category B wounded soldiers recognized before December 31, 1993; individuals entitled to policies as wounded soldiers;
+ Sick soldiers;
+ Individuals who participated in resistance activities and were affected by toxic chemicals;
+ Individuals who participated in revolutionary activities, resistance, national defense, and international obligations and were imprisoned or exiled by the enemy;
+ Individuals who participated in resistance activities for national liberation, national defense, and international obligations;
+ Individuals who helped the revolution.
- Relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution include biological parents, spouse, offspring (biological or adopted), and individuals who raised martyrs.
=> Accordingly, the above-mentioned subjects will be entitled to preferential treatment policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution, and their relatives such as biological parents, spouse, offspring (biological or adopted) will also be entitled to preferential treatment policies as stipulated.
