What are regulations on support in Vietnam when renting official residences or old state-owned houses for people with meritorious services to the revolution?
Pursuant to Article 100 of Decree 131/2021/ND-CP (Effective from February 15, 2022) regulating support when renting official residences or old state-owned houses for people with meritorious services to the revolution as follows:
- Conditions and principles for supporting housing rent exemption and reduction are implemented in accordance with the provisions of housing law.
- Subjects are exempted from housing rent
+ People who participated in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945; Vietnamese heroic Mother; Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Hero of Labor during the resistance period; War invalids, including class B war invalids recognized before December 31, 1993, people enjoying policies like these war invalids; diseased soldiers, resistance activists exposed to toxic chemicals with a high rate of bodily injury. from 81% or more; Relatives of martyrs are receiving monthly survivor benefits.
+ Subjects eligible for housing rent reduction specified in Clause 3 of this Article are currently living alone and without support (confirmed by the People's Committee of the commune where the rented house is located).
- Subjects and level of housing rent reduction
+ 90% reduction in housing rent for the following subjects: Revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August uprising in 1945; War invalids, including class B war invalids recognized before December 31, 1993, people enjoying policies like these war invalids; diseased soldiers, resistance activists exposed to toxic chemicals with a high rate of bodily injury from 61% to 80%.
+ 80% reduction in housing rent for the following subjects: War invalids, including class B war invalids recognized before December 31, 1993, people enjoying policies like these war invalids; diseased soldiers, resistance activists. Soldiers infected with toxic chemicals have a body injury rate of 41% to 60%.
+ 70% reduction in housing rent for the following subjects:
++ Wounded soldiers, including type B invalids recognized before December 31, 1993, people enjoying policies like these war invalids; diseased soldiers, resistance activists exposed to toxic chemicals with high injury rates body from 21% to 40%.
++ People who participated in revolutionary activities, resistance wars, defended the Fatherland, and performed international duties were imprisoned or exiled by the enemy.
++ The recipient or family member was awarded the Medal "Father's Merit" or the Certificate "For Merit to the Country" before the August Revolution of 1945, the recipient or family member was awarded the Resistance Medal war.
++ Relatives of martyrs.
+ 65% reduction in housing rent for the following subjects:
++ People who are active in the resistance war to liberate the nation, protect the Fatherland, and perform international duty.
++ The recipient or family member is awarded the Resistance Medal.

In Article 101 of Decree 131/2021/ND-CP (Effective from February 15, 2022), regulations on documents and processing procedures are as follows:
- Documents, order, and procedures for handling the cases specified in Points c, d, dd, Clause 2, Article 99 and Article 100 of this Decree comply with the provisions of the law on housing.
- Documents, order and procedures for handling the cases specified in Point e, Clause 2, Article 99 of this Decree shall comply with the provisions of Article 102 of this Decree.
