Responsibilities of Volunteer Youth

Article 15 of Decree 17/2021/ND-CP stipulates the responsibilities of volunteer youth as follows:

- Volunteer youth participating in programs, schemes, projects are responsible for performing the tasks assigned in the programs, schemes, projects that have been approved by the competent authority.

- Volunteer youth for the community and society have the following responsibilities:

+ Comply with the provisions of the law, the internal regulations, and the regulations of agencies, organizations, units organizing volunteer activities for the community and society, and the customs and traditions of the localities where the volunteer activities are conducted;

+ Perform tasks as assigned by agencies, organizations, units organizing volunteer activities for the community and society; cooperate well with relevant organizations and individuals in the locality during volunteer activities;

+ Youth who are officials and public employees, workers in state agencies, units, organizations, economic organizations, armed forces participating in volunteer activities must submit a proposal and obtain written consent from the managing and employing competent authority of officials and public employees, workers;

+ Youth who are students participating in volunteer activities during their study period must submit a proposal and obtain written consent from the directly managing educational and training institution, vocational education institution.
