The District-Level People's Committee has the following responsibilities:
- Promoting the movement "Gratitude," mobilizing resources within society to assist families of persons with revolutionary merits;
- Strengthening propaganda, inspection, and supervision of the implementation of policies, preferential treatments for persons with revolutionary merits and their relatives, rigorously handling violations in the implementation of laws, policies, and preferential treatments for persons with revolutionary merits and their relatives;
- Managing martyrs' commemoration projects and martyrs' graves within the district-level jurisdiction.
