      In Article 2 of the Ordinance on Establishing the State Honor Title "Hero Vietnamese Mother" is amended by Clause 1, Article 1 of the Ordinance amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ordinance on Establishing the State Honor Title "Hero Vietnamese Mother" has the following regulations:

      Article 2

      Mothers who fall into one of the following cases are awarded or posthumously awarded the title "Hero Vietnamese Mother":

      1. Having 2 or more children who are martyrs;

      What are preferential regimes for people recognized as Hero Vietnamese Mothers?

      In Article 18 of the Ordinance on Establishing the State Honor Title "Hero Vietnamese Mother", there are regulations on preferential treatment for Hero Vietnamese Mothers as follows:

      1. Preferential regime for relatives of martyrs specified in Clauses 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9, Article 16 of this Ordinance.

      2. Monthly allowance is 3 times the standard rate.

      3. Monthly allowance.

      4. Servant allowance for heroic Vietnamese mothers living at home.

      5. Annual health recovery nursing.

      6. The State and society donate houses or support housing improvement as prescribed in Point e, Clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance.

      According to Article 16 of the Ordinance on Establishing the State Honor Title "Hero Vietnamese Mother", it is stipulated as follows:

      1. Issue "Certificate of martyrs' families" according to Government regulations.

      2. One-time survivor allowance when conferring the "Fatherland's Merit" Degree posthumously; In case there are no relatives left, the martyr's heir holding the "Fatherland's Merit" Certificate will receive a one-time death benefit.

      3. Monthly death benefit for the following people:

      a) The biological father, biological mother, children of martyrs are under 18 years old or are 18 years or older if they are still in school or have severe disabilities, especially severe disabilities, people who have contributed to raising martyrs; In case there are many martyrs, the levels of relatives of two martyrs and relatives of three or more martyrs;

      b) Martyrs' spouses.

      4. In cases where the biological father, biological mother, or person who has contributed to raising a martyr, the spouse of a martyr specified in Clause 3 of this Article lives alone, or the child of a martyr specified in Clause 3 of this Article is orphaned, the right to receive additional monthly survivor allowance.

      5. Health rehabilitation every two years for biological fathers, biological mothers, people who have contributed to raising martyrs, spouses, and children of martyrs with severe disabilities or especially severe disabilities.

      In cases where the biological father or mother has only one child who is a martyr or has two or more children of martyrs, they will receive annual health rehabilitation.

      6. Health insurance for biological fathers, biological mothers, people who have contributed to raising martyrs, spouses, and children of martyrs.

      7. Preferential regimes specified in Points d, dd, e, g, h, i and k, Clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance.

      8. Preferential regime specified in Point c, Clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance for relatives of martyrs who are receiving monthly death benefits.

      9. Support in visiting martyrs' graves and moving martyrs' remains.

      10. The martyr's spouse marries another husband or wife and raises the martyr's children to adulthood or takes care of the martyr's biological father or mother while they are still alive or because of revolutionary activities they cannot take care of their biological father. While the martyr's biological mother is still alive, she will enjoy the following preferential regimes:

      a) Monthly death benefit;

      b) Health insurance.

      11. A one-time allowance for relatives equal to 03 months of the current monthly allowance when the subjects specified in Clause 3 of this Article die, except for the cases specified in Clause 10 of this Article.

      12. Burial allowance for the person or organization performing the burial when the subjects specified in Clause 3 of this Article who are receiving monthly benefits die, except in cases where the subjects specified in Clause 10 of this Article.

      Thus, your grandmother is recognized as a Hero Vietnamese Mother, so she will enjoy the preferential regimes specified above.
