Transfer of Ownership of Valuable Papers and Handling of Other Risk Cases

Based on Article 17 of Circular 01/2021/TT-NHNN stipulating the transfer of ownership of valuable papers and handling cases of risk as follows:

- Valuable papers are transferred in the forms of purchase, sale, donation, exchange, inheritance, and other forms in compliance with relevant legal regulations.

- Valuable papers issued by financial companies or financial leasing companies can only be transferred between organizations.

- Procedures for transferring the ownership of valuable papers, handling cases of risk (such as being crumpled, torn, lost, and other risk cases) are stipulated by credit institutions, branches of foreign banks in accordance with relevant legal regulations, specific business conditions of these credit institutions, branches of foreign banks, and ensuring the legitimate rights of the owners of valuable papers.
