Cigarettes Priced by the State
According to Point d, Clause 3, Article 19 of the Law on Prices 2012 stipulates:
"d) Setting maximum or minimum prices for:
…
- Domestic cigarette products;"
Setting maximum or minimum prices is one of three forms of price determination for goods as determined by the State according to Clause 2 of this Article. Therefore, it can be stated that the prices for domestically produced cigarettes are determined by the State in the form of either maximum or minimum prices.
Based on the maximum or minimum prices stipulated by the State, cigarette manufacturers and traders must adjust their prices to comply with the State's regulations.
