What are regulations on inspection of contents of data and metadata catalog regarding natural resources and enviroment in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Point 5.1.2 of Chapter I (Norms for inspection and acceptance of database of natural resources and environment sector) of Part II (Economic-technical norms for inspection and acceptance of natural resource it-applied products) issued together with the Circular 17/2016/TT-BTNMT stipulating as follows:
a) Scope of work
- Inspection of contents of data and metadata catalog
b) Classification of difficulty
- Data field ≤ 15 characters: apply KK1.
- Data field from 16 - 50 characters: apply KK2.
- Data field > 50 characters: apply KK3.

- Inspection of quantity of spatial data layers in database versus approved technical design
- Inspection of quantity of structured data fields for spatial objects.
- Inspection of sufficiency of contents and accuracy of positions of spatial objects
- Inspection of topology as prescribed in technical design
- Inspection of contents of structured data fields for spatial objects
b) Classification of difficulty
Difficulty is not classified in steps “Inspection of mathematical foundations”; “Inspection of quantity of spatial data layers in database versus approved technical design”; “Inspection of quantity of structured data fields for spatial objects”; “Inspection of sufficiency of contents and accuracy of positions of spatial objects”; “Inspection of topology as prescribed in technical design”.
In step “Inspection of contents of structured data fields for spatial objects”, difficulty shall be classified as follows:
- Data field ≤ 15 characters: apply KK1.
- Data field from 16 - 50 characters: apply KK2.
- Data field > 50 characters: apply KK3.
