Use of Fixed Radioactive Sources Ensuring Security at Security Level C
Subsection 1 Section IV Part I Appendix I Requirements for Ensuring Security for Radioactive Sources and Transporting Nuclear Materials issued with Decree 142/2020/ND-CP stipulates the use of fixed radioactive sources ensuring security at security level C as follows:
- Use of Fixed Radioactive Sources
a) Define the responsibilities and authorities of each unit and individual involved in ensuring the security of radioactive sources;
b) Have measures to prevent the unauthorized removal of radioactive sources;
c) Have a monthly periodic inventory procedure.
Use of Mobile Radioactive Sources and Storing Radioactive Sources Ensuring Security at Security Level C
Subsection 2, Subsection 3 Section IV Part I of the above Appendix stipulates the use of mobile radioactive sources and storing radioactive sources ensuring security at security level C as follows:
- Use of Mobile Radioactive Sources
a) Meet the requirements specified at points a, b, c, d, and dd of clause 2 Section III of this Part;
b) Have an inventory procedure after each shift and periodically on a monthly basis.
- Storage of Radioactive Sources
a) Define the responsibilities and authorities of each unit and individual involved in ensuring the security of radioactive sources;
b) Have a monthly periodic inventory procedure.
