Can an Official nearing Retirement be Transferred to a New Position?
According to Clause 2, Article 39 of Decree 59/2019/ND-CP on the Transfer of Work Positions in Special Cases:
There is no implementation of transfer of work positions for individuals who have less than 18 months remaining until they reach retirement age.
Thus, in the case of your father, who has 10 months left until retirement age, there will be no implementation of a transfer of work positions.
